3 Simple Steps to Enable Second login Verification in Yahoo
Yahoo began a new verification system called the Second login verification, which aims to prevent your Yahoo account from hijackers.
After enabling this
feature, users can quickly protect their accounts. The second login
verification is accessible to the worldwide Yahoo user.
Is it similar to the
two-step verification of Gmail? No. While Gmail's two-step verification asks
you to enter the verification code every time you try to log in, the second
login verification feature of Yahoo! It will only request suspect login
attempts.
Once the feature is
enabled, any unusual log-in attempt will be challenged by this new verification
system. For instance, if you try to sign-in to your account from a public PC or
new browser other than the one that you used to enable the second sign-in
feature,
You have to insert the
verification code that will be sent to your mobile or you have to answer for
two secret questions. So, when someone attempts to sign-in to your account,
he/she will have to either enter the verification code or answer for the secret
questions.
